Our Core Business:
We primarily grow strawberries and other berry fruits which we sell at our farm gate, to local businesses, or at various local markets.
Our first objective is to grow our fruit as fresh and flavoursome as possible in a holistic manner .
Stuff to learn from but not that important and an ongoing process like this paragraph and website
In order to grow the best strawberries and carry out our farming in as sustainable manner as possible we endeavour to use the best techniques and equipment available to us. Some of the ways we do this:
Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
IPM is a now commonly used agricultural system of pest management which is designed to help develop the most effective form of pest control which has helped us overcome the need to use pesticides.
Coir (Cocopeat) Substrate
Coir is a form of peat or "soil" which we use to grow in for its enhanced growing qualities.
In addition to growing fruit, we also breed a small flock of Dorper sheep. They are a low management, self-shedding breed with Roslynmead and Clifton Springs breedlines. If you are interested in purchasing any, please contact us.
