What to bring:
A hat, sunscreen and a bottle of water. We have plenty of buckets to pick into.
The whole family - the strawberries are at a height so there's no strain on the back and there are rows for the kids too.
How it works:
We give you some buckets to pick into, show you where to pick then weigh what you've picked.
Each adult must pick a minimum of 500g and each child a minimum of 250g.
No need to bend, our strawberries are planted at picking height!
What fresh produce do we sell?
Our main business is growing and selling strawberries, raspberries and blackberries but we also sell blueberries and cherries on behalf of other fantastic local growers when available.
How our strawberries are sold:
Initially our strawberries are separated into first grade and second grade strawberries. The first grade strawberries are then packaged into 500g containers, cooled and then sold within two days of picking (although the majority are sold on the day they were picked). The second grade strawberries are then sold for use in smoothies, cakes, jam etc or frozen and used in our own products.
*All of our first grade fruit is fresh and if refrigerated should be able to last around a week with minimal degeneration of quality.
At Beechworth Berries we make a small range of our own fantastic jams. These are all made using our own strawberries.
All of our jams contain over 55% fruit content
Our range of jams include:
Strawberry Rhubarb & Vanilla Jam
Strawberry Fig Jam
Raspberry Fig & Balsamic Jam
We sell our jams for $6 each or two for $10. If you are interested in purchasing wholesale quantities, please contact us.
